At Sea For You LLC, we strive to make your travel experience seamless, but we understand plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds for our travel services, including cruises, yacht tours, and retreats. By booking with us, you agree to this policy.
1. Cancellation by You
General Rules:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
Refunds depend on the notice period and trip type. Non-refunded amounts may cover deposits paid to third parties (e.g., cruise lines) or administrative costs.
All refunds are processed to the original payment method within 30 days.
Standard Cancellation Terms:
More than 90 days before departure: Full refund, minus a $200 administrative fee per person.
90–61 days before departure: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
60–31 days before departure: 25% refund of the total trip cost.
30 days or less before departure: No refund.
Special Trips: Some trips (e.g., wellness retreats, exclusive charters) may have stricter terms, noted at booking. For example:
Full payment may be non-refundable if canceled within 90 days.
Deposits for custom itineraries may be non-refundable.
No-Shows: If you miss a departure or fail to board, no refund will be issued.
2. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel trips due to:
Insufficient bookings (minimum participant requirements vary by trip).
Safety concerns (e.g., severe weather, political unrest).
Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vessel maintenance).
If we cancel:
You’ll receive a full refund of amounts paid to us, processed within 30 days.
Alternatively, we may offer a credit toward a future trip, valid for 12 months.
We’re not liable for additional costs (e.g., flights, hotels) incurred by you. We recommend travel insurance to cover such risks.
3. Changes to Itineraries
We may modify itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational needs (e.g., port closures).
Minor changes (e.g., altered shore excursions) do not qualify for refunds.
Significant changes (e.g., a different destination) may entitle you to a partial refund or alternative trip, at our discretion.
4. Third-Party Services
Some services (e.g., cruises, local tours) are provided by third parties with their own refund policies. If their terms are stricter, they apply. We’ll inform you of these at booking.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events. We’re not responsible for losses not covered by this policy.
6. Disputes
Refund disputes must be submitted in writing within 60 days of cancellation. We’ll review and respond within 30 days. Disputes are governed by Vermont law, as per our Terms of Service.
